Lynette: I'm pretty sure that I don't really remember this on my own, but I think I just remember people telling me about it. But, regardless, it's the earliest thing I "remember". When I was 2 or 3 I was at my brother's soccer game and I fell of the monkey bars on the playground. I fell on the ground and bit a hole in my bottom lip/chin. My mom took me to the ER and I "remember" them putting a drape over my face and stitching me up. Afterwards they told me how good I did. Okay, really, I probably am not actually remembering that. To be honest, I have a terrible memory. I hardly remember stuff from my childhood at all! Dan remembers every single one of his teachers from elementary school, I can probably only name a couple. Ooh, I just thought of something. I remember when i was younger, I'm not sure how young, my sister and I use to play a game called "My room is so clean I can...". I think she made up this game just so I would clean the room that we shared. She was always WAY cleaner than I was. Once our room was clean, we would play this game and take turns doing things in our room because it was so clean. "My room is so clean I can....do a cartwheel!". We had a lot of fun playing that silly game. Maybe I"ll try teaching my kids this game too!
A few hours after writing this post, I thought of maybe one of my actual earliest memories. I remember when I was in Kindergarten, the whole class was sitting on the "Magic Reading Carpet" and listening to the teacher read us a book. I must not have been feeling good that day b/c I all of the sudden threw-up on the Magic Reading Carpet....yuck!!! My teacher had another student take me down to the nurses office, pushing a giant trash can on wheels next to me, just in case I threw-up again. The magic carpet was rolled up and not used for a while...how embarrassing!!!!
